Use Canned Responses to speed up replying to your social mentions

Engagor can be used to directly post new messages or reply to mentions with your social profiles. You can use both personal Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter accounts, or social profiles connected to the topics of your account if you have sufficient rights.


Using Canned Responses

Are you using Engagor for webcare, or do you often find yourself replying with similar messages? Then you can improve your social workflow by using canned responses. These templates for replies or posts save you valuable time.

You can find the Publisher tool by clicking the reply button on a mention, or by clicking "New Post" in your Inbox. In the form to post a message/reply, you open up the advanced tools by clicking the button "Advanced". If you tick the checkbox "Save message to re-use later", the message entered will be saved as a canned response.

The next time you're replying and want to use a saved "template", click "Advanced", and then select the message from the drop down of canned responses. Once selected the message form field will be pre-filled with your selected response.


Editing Canned Responses

To edit or delete previous canned responses, you click the "Canned Responses" tab in the Publisher where you have an overview of previously saved messages. The edit and delete buttons allow you to manage your canned responses.


Connecting Social Profiles

To be able to use the Publisher to its full potential it's vital you connect the relevant social profiles. You can connect personal social profiles (your own Facebook profile, a Twitter account...) to your Engagor user account to reply with your personal profile. But you can also link social profiles to your Engagor topics (eg. a Facebook page). The profile will then be monitored by Engagor, and you will also be able to reply with this account from within Engagor.
